Liyu Tang (Leyna)
Liyu Tang is a ceramic artist and an Individual Member of the International Academy of Ceramics. Her practice develops a distinctive language of fluid structure, combining specially formulated porcelain with fiber to preserve folds, movement and the traces of transformation through firing. She has participated as a resident artist in two China National Arts Fund projects devoted to folk blue-and-white porcelain and red-and-green overglaze decoration.
汤黎宇是一位陶艺家、国际陶艺学会个人会员。她以特殊瓷泥与纤维材料发展出独特的“流动性结构”，在烧成中保留褶皱、运动以及材料转化的痕迹。她曾参与国家艺术基金景德镇民间青花及红绿彩艺术创新设计人才培养项目驻场。
Artist Statement / 艺术理念
“I create the conditions,
then let clay find its own form.”
My practice explores time, memory, bodily perception, and the connection between people and nature. Through a non-traditional forming process, porcelain slip meets a fiber structure; gravity, temperature and material tension become active participants.
我的创作围绕时间、记忆、身体感知以及人与自然的关联展开。通过非传统成型方式，让瓷泥与纤维结构相遇，使重力、温度与材料张力共同参与形态的生成。
